Lodger Agreement
A lodger (excluded occupier) agreement for a resident landlord in England who shares living accommodation with the lodger. Because the landlord lives in the same property and shares facilities, the lodger is a licensee — not an assured tenant — so the Renters' Rights Act assured-tenancy rules and section 8 do not apply, and the landlord may end the licence on reasonable notice without a court order. Covers rent, deposit, the Rent-a-Room scheme, house rules, notice, and services.
